We must clearly understand with whom we wage war, or we will default to fallen self. A little-recognized definition for idolatry is allowing man to become the center of worship, rather than God. All roads lead back to the fallen human heart.

The word of GOD is the channel through which divine love communicates to men His Truth and His will. Prayer is a principle, a gift from God, to prepare us and others to meet Him. He invites us to come unto Him.

When I opened my eyes, it felt like I had just closed them. I turned my head to see my alarm clock — just a few minutes before six — my usual time to worship and pray. This quiet time before the day begins is precious and rare.
