This flan is so creamy, topped with ripe strawberries, it’s the perfect dessert to enjoy, especially if you like strawberries.

Strawberry Cheesecake Flan

This recipe will make 4-6 pieces and take about ten minutes to make.

Ingredients

  • 17.6 ounces (or 500 grams) of vegan cream cheese
  • Strawberry syrup of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons agar agar
  • 1/4 cup of hot water
  • 1/2 coconut milk or yogurt (or any vegetable milk or yogurt of your choice)
  • 3 tablespoons of stevia or any sweetener of your choice
  • Juice of 1 small lime
  • Zest from the lime  

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the agar agar in the 1/4 cup of hot water. Blend or process with the cream cheese, milk, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  2. Cover the bottom of each mold with the strawberry syrup of your choice. Cut the strawberries into sheets, cover the bottom and walls of each mold. Add the mixture from step 1 and refrigerate until it solidifies. Enjoy!!!
