It was Tuesday morning, 10:00 a.m., and my shift had just begun at the mall. The shift from singleness to companionship. It was the morning I met my wife.

Many times the Bible says that Jesus was "moved with compassion." The Latin root of compassion has a different meaning than sympathy or pity. It means co-suffering. Christ did not just feel "sorry for" but He felt "sorry with" the ones with whom He came in contact.

What is a promise? It is a declaration that one will do exactly what they say. When God makes a promise, you can count on Him to fulfill it. You can cast all your cares upon Him and run with outstretched arms, expecting it to be realized.
