I want to take a moment to share why my brother Andrew and I started this video series and what went into creating it.

Earlier this year, Andrew and I felt inspired to start a video series to encourage others in their preparations for Jesus' second coming. Last fall, we attended a retreat that helped us focus on the faith of Jesus when reading the Bible. We came up with the idea to read through a book of the Bible together and share our discoveries about the Faith of Jesus through YouTube videos.

We chose to focus on the Gospel of Mark, and soon we started reading, preparing, and exploring the Faith of Jesus in each chapter. We then began recording our first videos. Although the recording process took a bit longer than we had expected, we persevered with determination. By April, we had retaken all the videos that needed redo, and we moved on to the next exciting phase—editing and uploading. Initially, this part took longer than we anticipated, but with each subsequent video, we improved and became faster. By early June, we had completed everything. Both of us felt incredibly happy knowing that all our hard work was finally done, and now we could look forward to sharing it with others!

Throughout my reading and preparation, I came to appreciate how much the faith of Jesus, or the faith Jesus Himself had, is beautifully recorded in Mark. Each chapter offered a new insight that I could personally apply to my own life about His faith. I feel truly blessed, and I sincerely pray that everyone who watches will also experience growth and receive blessings.

God’s people living at the end of time will have the faith of Jesus.

"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."

Revelation 14:12 (KJV)

As the series comes to a close, I invite you to share it with others. There's always time to join my brother and me as we explore the faith of Jesus together through the Gospel of Mark!

Call to Action

Mark Chapter 9 Challenge: We need to pray and fast so we are not a faithless generation, but so we can have the faith that Jesus had, and do mighty things for His glory. “And he answered them, “O faithless generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me” (Mark 9:19 ESV). Let us grow our faith to have the same faith that Jesus had.

Mark Chapter 10 Challenge: Whatever may be in your life that is hindering your walk with God, or anything that you are holding on to, GIVE that to Him. Take up your cross and follow Him in whatever He asks you to do and wherever He leads. “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20 ESV).

Mark Chapter 11 Challenge: Have faith in God to do big things. "For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you" (Matthew 17:20 ESV). Even if we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can still do big things for God.

Mark Chapter 12 Challenge: The poor widow gave everything she had, everything!! More important than the widow’s gift is Jesus’s gift. He gave even His life for you. What can you sacrifice for God? Whatever God is calling you to do, follow Jesus' example. “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13 ESV).

As we continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark in search of the Faith of Jesus, let us remember this verse, "Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God" (Hebrews 12:2 ESV).

Jesus will perfect and help us grow our faith. Let us be vessels willing to be molded by the Master Potter.

Each Thursday through October 2, a new episode on the Faith of Jesus in the Gospel of Mark will be published on our YouTube channel.

I've learned that perspective is everything, and how we see things helps us endure trials differently. I'll share what I've learned through my own crucibles, including one I'm going through as I write this—which is by far my greatest trial yet. Here are some important lessons that I’ve learned:

I believe that the faith of Jesus is what we all need today. Jesus calls us not only to have faith in Him but also to live each day with the faith that Jesus has. Faith will be crucial when we face future tests of our faith. As Jesus' second coming approaches, we need His faith more than ever. Even the smallest amount of faith can...
