Creating and publishing the Faith of Jesus Series has been a rewarding and fulfilling journey. I hope it has blessed you, and I would like to share some of my experiences from doing this series with my brother.
At the beginning of this year, my brother and I wanted to start something new for Time to Get Ready Ministry’s YouTube channel. After prayer and discussion, we decided to launch a series on "The Faith of Jesus." We were very excited!
While making the videos earlier this year, it wasn't always easy. We sometimes struggled with not wanting to go out and record, and other times we had trouble finding something in a chapter to share, but we always managed to find something. Our goal was to finish by the end of March. Before shooting each video, we had to find a quiet spot, look good, and prepare what we would say. Despite all the challenges, we completed all the videos by the end of March.
Lessons Learned
Sometimes it seems hard to do something for God. We wanted to do something. God blessed us with our efforts. Remember, whenever you do something for God, Satan will try to stop you. That happened to us. But with God’s help, you can push through. I have learned this with the Faith of Jesus series and other things I have done for Time to Get Ready Ministries. The most important thing is to do something for God, however hard Satan may try to stop you.
When you do something for God and ask the Holy Spirit to be with you, it will bless others. We pray that you will continue to be encouraged, enlightened, and empowered as you watch the videos below, read other articles, and more!
I invite you to watch the final four videos from The Faith of Jesus series below and consider the challenges from each chapter!
Call to Action
Mark Chapter 13 Challenge: We need to study the Bible and pray every day to grow our faith as we prepare for the turbulent times ahead before the second coming of Jesus. Let’s Be Ready. “And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!” Mark 13:37
Mark Chapter 14 Challenge: Have complete faith and trust in God. Surrender your will to Him. He has a plan for all of us. “And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt” (Mark14:36 KJV).
Mark Chapter 15 Challenge: Jesus was faithful to God throughout his life, from his birth to his death. God is calling all of us to be faithful unto Him, no matter the cost. “Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life” (Revelation 2:10).
Mark Chapter 16 Challenge: Jesus is calling us to have the faith that he had throughout his life. The faith that brought him through temptation in the desert, the faith that cast out demons, and the same faith that he cherished in His father as he was standing before the Sanhedrin. Jesus is calling us to have The Faith Of Jesus as we go and share the gospel message. “And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover'" (Mark 16:15-18).
Let us remember to search the Scriptures for Jesus and ask the Holy Spirit to help us have faith like Jesus, so God can do small and mighty things through us for His honor and glory.
"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."
Revelation 14:12 (KJV)
