Are you fully committed to Christ?
Distractions, busyness, and various challenges—both good and bad—hinder us from following the Lamb wherever He leads (Revelation 14:4). We often encounter trials and temptations, and it is likely that we falter because we face these obstacles in our own strength rather than relying on Jesus’ strength. We tend to forget that the fundamental key to spiritual growth and readiness for the mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit (Latter Rain) lies in living a completely surrendered life to Christ. While we may be aware of this truth, we often hesitate to pay the price that comes with being fully committed to Him.
What Does It Mean to Be 100% Surrendered to Jesus?
- Complete Trust. Jesus is at the wheel, and we are not back-seat drivers; ideally, we are in the trunk, placing our complete trust in Him to guide us wherever He chooses each day. As we practice allowing Jesus to lead, our trust in Him deepens.
- Fearless Faith. Jesus serves as our example to follow. Almost 2,000 years ago, He ignited the world with teachings, healings, and sermons guided by faithfully following His Father’s will for His life. Every moment of His life was directed by His faith in the Father to lead Him, to guide Him, and to provide for Him—in every aspect of his life. “He knelt down and prayed, saying, ‘Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done’” (Luke 22:41-42).
- Selflessness. When we fully surrender and choose to live for Christ instead of ourselves, the allure of worldly pursuits for ourselves diminishes, and our carnal desires transform into a consistent longing to fulfill God’s will—serving Him and others above ourselves. “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves” (Philippians 2:3 NIV).
- Willingness to Pray the Dangerous Prayer. Every day, Jesus dedicated time to His Father, prioritizing the Father’s agenda—no matter the sacrifices required. “Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed” (Mark 1:35). Jesus was focused on accomplishing His mission on earth: to sacrifice Himself for our sins and offer eternal life freely to every person—at any cost. What about us? Are we prepared to pursue God's mission for us—regardless of the cost? What is that mission? God aims to resolve the ongoing conflict between good and evil, between Christ and Satan. What did the Disciples need to spread the Gospel to the world? They needed the power of the Holy Spirit (the Early Rain). What is essential for us to share the gospel and the Three Angel’s Messages globally? We also need the power of the Holy Spirit (the Latter Rain). Are you prepared to pray for the Latter Rain—at any cost?

For much of my life, I desired to be a backseat driver—Jesus was steering the wheel, but I yearned to dictate the direction. I kept seeking control, not recognizing that the best position for me was in the trunk, entrusting Jesus to navigate my life. How about you? Where do you prefer to sit: in the front, back seat, or in the trunk?
Last summer, a friend persuaded me to join him in praying a dangerous prayer. What exactly is this dangerous prayer? We began asking God each day to prepare us and our families for the Latter Rain—at any cost.
Will you join us in praying this dangerous prayer each day?
What Happens When You Pray This Dangerous Prayer?
As you pray this prayer, you are fully allowing God to do whatever He needs in your life, no matter the cost, to prepare you for the Latter Rain.
Last year, the Holy Spirit prompted me to share this dangerous prayer with another friend. On the same day, this friend felt the Holy Spirit's call to begin praying it as well. When I contacted them, they expressed their shared conviction but voiced concerns about the “risk” involved in praying this prayer—they feared granting Jesus full control over their life. I empathize with their hesitation, but I can attest to the incredible power of God that manifests when we embrace this prayer. Check out the YouTube video below to learn about the miraculous ways God intervened for me after I began praying it. In the video, I also share eight steps to help prepare for the Latter Rain.
“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”
Matthew 10:28-31

“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6 ESV
Trust in God; His care for you exceeds your imagination. Why fear the unknown when you embark on this challenging prayer? Why allow distractions of this world to hinder you from receiving the Latter Rain and following the Lamb wherever He leads?
Call to Action: Will You Pray This Dangerous Prayer?
Jesus desires to unleash (John 3:34) the Latter Rain power (Zechariah 10:1), but He hasn’t found individuals ready to receive it. Consider if Jesus had come to earth without being completely devoted to His Father’s will; the opportunity for eternal life would not exist for us. Now, picture every disciple of Jesus Christ earnestly engaging in this bold prayer, granting God full permission to prepare themselves and their families—regardless of the cost—for the Latter Rain, while also inspiring others to do the same. I truly believe that the Latter Rain power would soon be poured out upon us.
Are you weary of this old, sin-filled world?
Pray this dangerous prayer every day and share it with others: “Dear Heavenly Father, I ask that you prepare my family and me for the Latter Rain—at any cost. I trust you completely. I believe you will answer this prayer, and I give you full permission to do whatever is necessary. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
Pray with expectancy that God will answer!
