Did you know that globally, every 60 seconds, we eat 11.5 million pounds of food? Sadly, every minute, we also waste 4.9 million pounds of food around-the-world.1

Our world’s first sin revolved around food and a wasted opportunity to pass the test God gave Adam and Eve (Genesis 2:15-17). Eve desired food she wasn’t supposed to eat, and she ate it (Genesis 3:6).

Do we waste opportunities by ignoring our physical and spiritual wellbeing?

Well, if we take good care of our physical body, we will have the energy and knowledge to have a spiritual body. And if you have a healthy spiritual relationship with God, then there will be a long-term benefit — eternal life! So just remember, to treasure our opportunities to take care of our spiritual and physical wellbeing.
