God destroyed the earth with water after only eight people listened and obeyed His call to enter the ark (Genesis 7:13-8:14). God is calling you today, to cast your cares upon Him and let Him have all of you, so He can imprint His character in you. Your worries and addictions, gone! Your fears and selfishness, they will disappear like the “morning mist at noon” (Isiah 44:21 TLB).
As Noah warned the world for up to 120 years before the flood came (Genesis 5:32; 6:3; 7:6), God is calling His people to get ready, help others get ready, and warn the world of His coming judgement. After the saints reign in heaven with Christ for 1,000 years, God will destroy the world by fire and sin will disappear forever (Revelation 20:7-9)!
