Did you know that President Abraham Lincoln imposed the first federal income tax in 1861? The tax was set at 3 percent on income over $800 ($23,000 today) to help fund the Civil war.1 No one likes to pay taxes but they help to serve worthy causes (e.g. schools, law enforcement, etc.).

God invites us to share our blessings back in tithes and offerings. These monies serve eternal causes to finish the work of sharing Jesus to all-the-world.

Will you ask God how you can use your time, talents and money for Him in ways that bring Him the most glory?
