Jesus wants us to catch fish too! Jesus wants us to be fishermen. He wants all of us to be fishermen. Jesus wants us to share the Gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ, with all the world. Jesus wants to be our Best Friend. How does this work?
For me, I like to do this through singing, reading the Bible and praying. How do you like to spend time with Jesus?
Not only does Jesus want to be our Best Friend — but He also wants us to “fish” for men. Jesus asked us to, "'Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you…'" (Matthew 28:19-20 ESV).
