The Windy City is a nickname given to Chicago but it has nothing to do with Chicago’s weather. Chicago’s nickname, coined by 19th-century journalists, was referring to the fact that its residents were “windbags” and “full of hot air.”

Rather than be known for the emptiness of our words let us be emptied of self, so that God will be exalted and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:7-11).
