Did you know that a black hole is a place in space where gravity pulls so strongly that even light cannot get out? Gravity is super strong because matter has been squeezed into a tiny space. Imagine stuffing Mt. Everest into a package the size of one atom! Whoa! That would be dense, wouldn’t it?
Well, the Bible talks about God’s love having a similar power to draw us to Him. The difference is that while light has no choice if it’s near a black hole, God has given us the choice to walk away from Him.
Don’t make THAT choice! Rather, allow the love of God to bring you to Him so you will be filled with the fullness of God!
“For this reason I bend my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:14-19 NASB).
