A study in the Journal of Consumer Research found that when diners were given larger forks with which to eat their meals, they ended up eating less. This is because smaller forkfuls of food lead diners to feel they are not making much of a dent in consuming their food, and as a result they feel the need to keep taking more forkfuls than necessary to satisfy their hunger.

It’s no wonder that Jesus wanted to remove the anxiety that His disciples felt about their every day needs by assuring them that as their Father clothed the lilies of the field, as He looked after the birds of the sky, how much more would He care for them (Matthew 6:25-34).

So relax! You’re eating with God’s fork and it’s a huge one! Just focus on knowing Him, seeking His kingdom and experiencing His righteousness!
