In Philippians 4:6, the Bible says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." (ESV)

We are to present our requests to God through prayer, but how do we know He hears our prayers?

"And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him."

1 John 5:14-15 ESV

Call to Action

God hears our prayers! Not only does He hear, but He answers, if we have faith. Although sometimes, it may seem like there are no answers to our sincere prayers, we can be confident that God hears our prayers and answers them in His perfect timing. So never give up praying for a family member, friend, or anyone God lays upon your heart. Pray until something happens.
