Where was God?
This month's Get Ready Magazine theme is A New Mind! The Bible encourages us, "All things are for your sakes...therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, inwardly we are being renewed day by day" (2 Corinthians 4:5-16).
All things are for our sakes. Suffering was added to the human experience as a consequence. God only intends that we suffer for our own good. God told Adam, "cursed is the ground for your sake" (Genesis 3:17).
Though we are outwardly wasting away, we are being renewed inwardly day by day.
