"Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge Him. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth."

Hosea 6:3 (NIV)

Spring is finally here, with summer right around the corner. After such a cold winter, it is a welcome sight. Depending on where you live, you may be witnessing the beauty of various flowers blooming, trees sprouting tiny leaves, and bugs emerging from all sorts of places. This is a miracle not to be missed. The forsythias are one of the first signs of spring's official arrival. The cherry blossoms, magnolia trees, the daffodils, and tulips all begin to show you that there is beauty everywhere you look. The warmth of the sun feels good on your skin. Slowly, the coats, mittens, scarves, and boots begin to be put away.

Outdoor activities begin to take place. Picnics, sports games, hiking, and nature walks make it such a delight to be outside and be a part of it all. The miracle of God's beautiful creations.

How conscious are you that every second of every minute of every day you're experiencing a miracle?

"And God said, 'Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years.'"

Genesis 1:14 (ESV)

Every sunrise and every sunset is a miracle. Every time you breathe in the fresh air and breathe out, it is a miracle. Every spider's web, bee’s honeycomb, ant line marching to and fro that you see—you are witnessing a miracle. Let's not forget every handshake, hug, or godly kiss—you are embracing a miracle, a precious soul that Christ gave His life for. Be mindful of that.

Call to Action

Turn the screens off: the phone, the television, the social media platforms.

Turn the noise off.

Go outside.

Pause.

Listen.

And know YOU are the miracle. You are not a mistake. You are not here by chance nor by accident. You are one of God's miracles.

"Be still, and know that I am God."

Psalm 46:10 (ESV)

There was no time; I was sliding to the edge, and there was nothing I could do about it. I saw the driver's-side tire go over the white line; the headlights of the oncoming car blinded me as its horn blasted. I realized this was the end. “This is it! I'm going to die. Lord, please help me! I can't make it without you!” Suddenly, as...
